John Size sets Hong Kong training record

Australian John Size has trained his 92nd winner for the season to set a Hong Kong record.

Expat Australian trainer John Size has set a Hong Kong record with his 92nd win for the season at Sha Tin.

He brought up the milestone when Thewizardofoz won Sunday's Group Three Premier Cup, the final Group race of the Hong Kong season.

Size has a 15-win lead over John Moore in the trainers' championship with five meetings remaining.

Thewizardofoz was one of four winners at the meeting for champion jockey Joao Moreira and took his season tally to 166, two short of the record he set last year.
