A capacity field of 18 runners has been declared for the Group One Oakleigh Plate with star colt Extreme Choice to jump from a middle barrier.
Dual Group One winner Extreme Choice, who won the Blue Diamond Stakes at the corresponding meeting a year ago, has barrier nine for Saturday's 1100m-handicap at Caulfield while multiple Group One placegetter Fell Swoop has gate eight.
Last year's winner Flamberge (six) is topweight with 58kg and one of four runners for trainer Darren Weir along with Thermal Current (barrier 11), Hellbent (13) and Winx's younger half-brother El Divino (two).
