Peter Moody is looking good for a clean sweep of Melbourne's feature autumn sprints with as many as five runners in the Oakleigh Plate.

Still on a high after the astonishing victory of unbeaten mare Black Caviar in the Lightning Stakes at Flemington, Moody has nominated Set For Fame, Avenue, Reward For Effort, Hinchinbrook and Panipique for Saturday's Caulfield sprint.

Moody's racing manager Jeff O'Conner said Set For Fame, Avenue and Hinchinbrook were definite runners while there was a question mark on Panipique who is 24th in the ballot.

"We will also have a look at Reward For Effort working in the morning before we make a decision on him," O'Conner said.

"It looks like we will have four, maybe five runners."

Moody appears to have the other Group One autumn sprints parcelled up with Black Caviar, who will have her next start in the Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington on March 12 and then the William Reid Stakes (1200m) under lights at Moonee Valley on March 25.

However the Oakleigh Plate has so far been a bogey race for Moody.

Ancient Song (2004), Segments (2005) and Magnus (2008) all finished second in the sprint while Magnus was also third in 2007.

Last year Moody loaded up the Oakleigh Plate with four runners with Wanted his best result in fourth place.

Headway was seventh, Tickets ninth and Avenue second last.

Among this year's star line-up of 25 nominations are dual Group One winner Star Witness, Ortensia, Catapulted, First Command, Eagle Falls and Undeniably.

Retired champion Weekend Hussler, who won the 2008 Oakleigh Plate, will lead out this year's field as part of a tribute day.

The 2008 Australian Horse of the Year, Weekend Hussler won seven Group One races during a stellar career which included Caulfield Guineas at his fifth start, the Oakleigh Plate, the Newmarket Handicap and the Underwood Stakes.
