Weight-for-age star Danleigh started Chris Waller's Rosehill winning streak but the trainer doubts he'll be the horse to continue the sequence.

Danleigh takes on a class field in the Group Two Expressway Stakes (1200m) as Waller tries to train at least one winner at a Rosehill Saturday meeting for the 22nd consecutive time.

The multiple Group One winner is rated an $11 chance with TAB Sportsbet with popular mare Hot Danish the $1.90 favourite ahead of Love Conquers All at $3.80.

"He (Danleigh) is well, he's a year older so he's probably not going to be quite as sharp first-up," Waller said.

"He'd appreciate a bit of rain about but whatever he does he'll certainly improve on for his next run as he did last year.

"He ran last (of five) on a heavy track last year and then came out and won the Apollo Stakes second-up.

"We're not going to expect too much but at the same time he's a high-quality horse and they very rarely let you down."

Hot Danish is chasing her eighth win from nine first-up attempts and Waller believes the race suits her and Love Conquers All better than seven-year-old Danleigh.

A positive for Danleigh is the fact he's not carrying as much condition going into this preparation as he did in the spring, and his two trials have been as good as ever by his standards.

Waller has 10 runners across four races on Saturday and the premiership pacesetter rates Triple Elegance his best chance.

Triple Elegance has contributed four wins to the Rosehill sequence including two victories where he kept the streak alive by being Waller's sole winner at the meeting.

He is backing up after a narrow defeat by All Legal at Randwick last weekend and Waller has elected to apply blinkers in Saturday's Winning Post Restaurant Handicap (1500m).

"It's a tough week to back up but he looks fine," Waller said.

A bookmaker, meanwhile, is trying to cash in on Waller's Rosehill winning streak.

Tom Waterhouse, the latestmember of the famous Australian bookmaking family to call the odds, has framed a market on Waller continuing the sequence.

The trainer's run started on Golden Slipper day last year when Danleigh won the George Ryder Stakes.

Through his online wagering business, Waterhouse is challenging punters to back Waller's spree all the way to this year's Golden Slipper meeting on April 2.

He is offering $10 about Waller extending the sequence to 27 meetings.

Punters who think the trainer's winning run will come to an end on Saturday can get set at $2.60.

"It wouldn't be a Saturday Rosehill meeting without a Chris Waller winner," Waterhouse said.
