Stablemates Adnocon and Ahdashim will put their summer carnival credentials on the line at Rosehill on Saturday.

The pair contest the 1400-metre open handicap with trainer Gerald Ryan looking ahead to the Festival Stakes and then the Group Two Villiers Stakes (1600m) on December 18 before heading north for the Magic Millions meeting on the Gold Coast in January.

Adnocon ran ninth in the 2009 Villiers, just 2-1/2 lengths behind the winner Palacio de Cristal and then ran third to Hidden Wonder in the Magic Millions Stayers' Cup (1800m).

"Both will go to the Festival Stakes and then we'll make a decision on the Villiers," Ryan said.

"Adnocon ran well in the Villiers last year, he wasn't far from the winner.

"Ahdashim was third in the Festival so I'd like to think he can go as well again and we can take him to the Magic Millions Cup over 1400 metres.

"I don't know if the 1600 metres of the Villiers is too far and I will assess it after the Festival."

Ryan hopes Ego's Dare can join his stablemates on the trip to the Gold Coast in January where he ran fifth in this year's Magic Millions Cup.

Ego's Dare was scratched from Saturday's Rosehill meeting because of a bruised foot and Ryan will give him time to get over the problem.

"There isn't another suitable race for him until the 18th of December so we will probably wait until then," Ryan said.

"The plan for him is the Magic Millions Cup again."

Ryan is looking further ahead with juvenile filly Saramenha who is on target for her third win on Saturday.

The trainer is keen to boost her prizemoney to the level which will ensure a Golden Slipper start next April.

Saramenha won her second start on October 30 by 6-1/2 lengths and had another comfortable workout on Saturday when she scored by almost five lengths.

Each race was worth $42,000 to the winner and another victory would almost certainly ensure a Slipper start if she proved she was good enough.

"This way she can have a break of around seven weeks then we've got eleven weeks to get her ready for the Slipper lead-up two weeks before," Ryan said.

"I don't know if she's good enough for the Slipper but this way we've got the bases covered if she is."

There were just six original entries for the two-year-old fillies race with nine nominated for the colts and geldings division.

Among the latter is the John O'Shea-trained Foxwedge, an eight-length winner of a 900-metre barrier trial at Rosehill last week.
