So You Think's spring exploits have earned him the highest rating for any Australian-trained horse since the inception of the world rankings in 2004.

The latest World Thoroughbred Rankings, published by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, have been released with So You Think given a 125 rating, placing him equal 10th on the world list.

Harbinger, an 11-length winner of the Group One King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2414m) at Ascot in July, heads the rankings with a 135 rating.

So You Think almost took all before him in Melbourne this spring claiming four straight Group One victories with dominant performances in the Underwood Stakes, Yalumba Stakes, Cox Plate and Mackinnon Stakes before his brave third in the Melbourne Cup.

Super mare Black Caviar has also earned a place on the list and has joined Kong Kong's Sacred Kingdom at the top of the rankings for sprinters with a 122 rating, just ahead of Starspanglebanner (121).

Black Caviar remained unbeaten during the spring, taking her career record to eight wins from as many starts with a breathtaking four-length victory in the Group One Patinack Farm Classic (1200m) at Flemington.

The Peter Moody-trained mare's rating makes her the third highest-rated filly or mare in the current rankings behind Goldikova and Zenyatta, who have the same 125 rating as So You Think.

Evergreen galloper Zipping, who'll be chasing a fourth straight Sandown Classic (2400m) win on Saturday, and Whobegotyou have been given a 120 rating to place them equal 38th in the world rankings.
