So You Think faces his acid test in England this week at Royal Ascot and those close to him have no doubts he will pass with flying colours.

The dual Cox Plate winner is the overwhelming favourite for the Prince Of Wales's Stakes (2000m) on Wednesday (Thursday morning AEST).

Trained by Bart Cummings in Australia, So You Think was transferred to Coolmore's head trainer Aidan O'Brien after owner Dato Tan Chin Nam sold a controlling interest to the Irish stud.

He has been untroubled in two wins in Ireland including the Group One Tattersalls Gold Cup where champion British jockey Ryan Moore rode him for the first time ahead of Royal Ascot.

Tom Magnier, Australian racing manager for his father, Coolmore principal John Magnier, said the operation was excited about the next step.

"People who saw him over the past couple of days have just been blown away by him," Magnier told Sydney's Sky Sports radio.

"He's come up here and he's a Group One winner.

"Everybody is talking about him."

Magnier said he had spoken to O'Brien who rates So You Think as possibly the best to ever compete for Coolmore.

"I was talking with Aidan this morning and he couldn't be happier," Magnier said.

"He thinks he could be the best horse he's ever had.

"We've had some exceptional horses and the trainer is very, very excited about this horse.

"He said the horse is nothing like we've ever seen before."

Magnier said the rest of So You Think's program had not been determined with options to take him up to 2400 metres or bring him back to a mile (1600m).

Although O'Brien is reluctant to talk about his horses pre-race, his wife Anne-Marie is an active Twitter user and gave a running commentary of So You Think's Saturday morning workout.

"Just jumping off, settled in nicely behind his lead horse, starting to move upsides, eases to the front. Easy, 15 lengths clear. Phew!" she wrote.
