The South Australian Jockey Club is confident it can provide the perfect farewell for Black Caviar before she heads to Royal Ascot in June.

Communications manager Terry McAuliffe said two Group One offerings would be hard for connections to pass up and the club believed it had a "real chance" of attracting the unbeaten champion.

The Sportingbet Classic (1200m) for fillies and mares on April 28 and The Goodwood (1200m) on May 12 could both provide Black Caviar with the run she needs before she leaves for overseas.

"We know we have got the perfect races for her," McAuliffe said.

"One is against fillies and mares (the Sportingbet Classic) over 1200 metres and the other is a set weights and penalties race over 1200 metres in which she will only get 57kg."

Black Caviar last raced when she won the Group One Lightning Stakes (1000m) at Flemington on February 18.

After a short break she is back in light work and her return to Peter Moody's Caulfield stables is imminent.

The Diamond Jubilee Stakes (1200m) is her mission at Royal Ascot.

Moody is open to giving Black Caviar two more runs in Australia if she needs them.

The $400,000 BTC Cup (1200m) in Brisbane, which Black Caviar won last year, is also an option.

But McAuliffe pointed out that it was worth $100,000 less than the $500,000 Goodwood the same day and was the same prizemoney as the Sportingbet Classic.

"There is also the attraction that Adelaide is closer to Melbourne than Brisbane," McAuliffe said.

He said trainer Mark Kavanagh could run unbeaten filly Atlantic Jewel in the Sportingbet Classic if Black Caviar didn't contest the race.

McAuliffe said Black Caviar lining up in The Goodwood and Atlantic Jewel two weeks earlier in the Sportingbet Classic would be a dream result for the SAJC.
