Pure Force will not be among Gerald Ryan's Golden Slipper team but the trainer believes he has the ability to win races starting with Rosehill on Saturday.

The Inglis Classic placegetter lines up for his fourth start in the 1200m two-year-old handicap with stablemate Miss Jackson among the 15 nominations.

Second acceptances for the $3.5 million Golden Slipper on April 2 close on Tuesday afternoon with Ryan to have six going forward.

"I've paid up for six - Saramenha, Rock Monster, Fast Shanti, Hollyweird, Hot Snitzel and Godspeed," Ryan said.

"I don't think Pure Force is a Slipper horse but I think he can run well in easier races.

"The blinkers will come off on Saturday and Hugh Bowman will ride."

Expensive colt Godspeed, who ran second as odds-on favourite on Saturday for the second time, is having a short break with the Skyline Stakes on March 12 scheduled as his next appearance.

Ryan was unhappy with Steven Arnold's ride, believing he should have been more aggressive on Godspeed who was slow out of the barriers and the Melbourne jockey has been sacked as the colt's rider.

"Nobody asked me what my instructions were and they were to be aggressive and make him go early," Ryan said.

Hollyweird runs in the Chairman's Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday with a view to heading to the Blue Diamond Stakes three weeks later.

"She isn't nominated for the Blue Diamond but if she runs well then we'll consider paying the late entry fee," Ryan said.

"Fast Shanti will trial at Rosehill tomorrow while Hot Snitzel has been gelded and comes back to the stable next week."

Ryan's team for Saturday includes Ironstein who ran third over 1900 metres last Saturday week, a length behind upset winner Barlagarney.

"He took more benefit from that run than he did from his previous two starts and will have (apprentice) Blake Spriggs aboard on Saturday," Ryan said.

"He runs over 1900 again and I still have a trip to Tasmania inthe back of my mind for him.

"Ego's Dare steps up to 1500 metres. He has been racing like he needs further so we will try him and see what happens."

There were 15 entries for the Benchmark 95 over 1500 metres including Triple Elegance who went down to All Legal in a photo finish at Randwick on Saturday.
