The former Gerald Ryan-trained three-year-old is one of a dozen Newmarket Handicap nominations from the Moody stable with entries headed by unbeaten star Black Caviar.

The Fastnet Rock colt, fourth in the Golden Slipper and third in the AJC Sires' Produce Stakes last autumn, won two of five starts as a two-year-old but hasn't won in four outings so far this season.

Stablemates and Newmarket nominations, 2009 Blue Diamond winner Reward For Effort and Avenue are also down to trial at Cranbourne as is Australian Guineas entrant Miss Gai Flyer.

Reward For Effort came back from a long lay-off due to a leg injury after finishing seventh in the 2009 Golden Slipper to win the Listed Sir John Monash Stakes at Caulfield and the Group Three Concorde Stakes last July-August.

The Exceed And Excel four-year-old entire's last outing was a seventh of eight behind Hay List in the Group One Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley in September.

Brilliant grey mare Avenue, the winner of seven of her 15 starts, will trial over 800 metres against Reward For Effort.

The four-year-old, a three-time Group Three winner, has won three Listed Races from her past four starts most recently the Kevin Heffernan Stakes (1300m) at Sandown on November 13.

Flying Spur filly Miss Gai Flyer, the winner of two of her six starts, was runner-up in the Group Two Karrakatta Plate (1200m) at Ascot in April last year, was put aside after failing in two runs at Moonee Valley last spring.
