Gold Coast trainer Bryan Guy can't split Noisy Ocean and Easy Successful in the Dalrello Stakes at Doomben with the pair to then take different paths in search of greater rewards.

Both youngsters have drawn well in barriers two and four respectively in Monday's 1200m feature.

Noisy Ocean earned $194,000 for winning two of his first four starts in his first preparation but has failed to repeat the form in two starts this campaign.

The son of Shovhog beat one runner home in his comeback behind Benfica in the Listed Hampden Stakes (1200m) at Doomben on May 14 before finishing eighth to Fontelina in the Listed Phoenix Stakes (1350m) at the same track a fortnight later.

Easy Successful, a son of Easy Rocking, led all the way for a commanding maiden win over 1200 metres on his home track on May 21.

He previously finished third to Lucky Morna over 1200 metres on a heavy track at Eagle Farm on April 30.

"I'm expecting a better run from Noisy Ocean this time," Guy said.

"He's taking time to hit his straps this time in but he never had much luck and had to go back from his wide alley last start in The Phoenix.

"He's a QTIS600 horse and if he goes well I'll send him up to Rockhampton for the big QTIS600 race there at the end of the month."

Guy will consider aiming Easy Successful for the Listed Tattersall's Racing Club Stakes (1400m), formerly the Australia Post Stakes, at Eagle Farm on Saturday week if the colt runs up to expectations.

"Easy Successful keeps on improving," Guy said.

"He sat three deep outside the leaders the day he ran third at Eagle Farm two runs ago and he came out and won well at the Gold Coast last start."

Trainer Paul Messara will also aim Mahisara for the Tattersall's Racing Club Stakes if the son of More Than Ready lives up to his Group Two Sires' Produce Stakes placing in the Dalrello Stakes.

Mahisara earned a trip to Brisbane after winning his first two starts at Kembla Grange and Canterbury and then attempted to lead all the way after jumping from a wide barrier when third to Hot Snitzel in the Sires' Produce Stakes at Eagle Farm on June 4.

"He had every chance in the Sires' when he got run down but he's got another bad alley again," Messara said.

"I would have been confident of winning had he drawn better than 12.

"A better draw would have made a big difference as he could have found the rail but it now depends on what the horses inside him do."
