Promising mare Falling In Love, nominated to race in two states at the weekend, will remain in Sydney.

Falling In Love is entered for a Listed race at Eagle Farm but trainer Grahame Begg said the four-year-old would line up at Randwick instead.

"The distance (1400m) of the Randwick race is a lot more suitable for her,' he said.

"I've had this race in mind for her since she resumed."

Falling In Love hasn't raced since she was narrowly defeated by Rock Kingdom at Randwick on Boxing Day.

Rock Kingdom was subsequently hailed as the unlucky runner when second to Tempest Tost in the Magic Millions Trophy.

"You can't fault the form around her first-up run and she has come on nicely since," Begg said.

Begg kept Falling In Love's preparation ticking over with a barrier trial hit-out at Randwick on Friday.

She finished third in a 1200m heat, pleasing her trainer with the way she found the line.

Falling In Love hasn't missed a place in a four-start start that includes a Kensington track win in April.

The mare is one of 10 entries for the Randwick fillies and mares race.

Rosehill mare Blood Angel is also cross-nominated into the J Cadell-Garrick Handicap (1200m) at Eagle Farm.

Other NSW entries for the $100,000 fillies and mares Brisbane feature include Allaboutus, Tsutsumi and Ugly Betty, the Kris Lees-trained mare who won at Eagle Farm last Saturday.

Allaboutus, who beat Ugly Betty home when runner-up to Spectacular Bird at Randwick on December 20, raced without luck at her most recent start when sixth at Randwick.

Quizzical Lady, Desdemona and Toowoomba filly Black Minx head the local entries.

There were nine entries for the two-year-old handicap at Randwick headed by Golden Slipper second favourite Real Saga.

Trained by Michael, Wayne and John Hawkes, Real Saga won the Breeders Plate on October 4.

At his only public appearance since, Real Saga finished a close second to Manhattan Rain in a Rosehill barrier trial after covering ground.

His performance impressed observers including bookmaker Col Tidy whose betchoice.com has him at $9 for the Golden Slipper behind $5 favourite More Joyous.
