Dual Group One winner Eskimo Queen is back in work at Mike Moroney's Melbourne stable and will be aimed at successive victories in the Coolmore Classic.

"She'll be aimed for the Coolmore again," Moroney's stable manager Anthony Feroce said.

The five-year-old won the 2007 Queensland Oaks (2400m) at Eagle Farm and last autumn was successful in the Coolmore Classic (1500m), beating Hot Danish on a heavy track at Rosehill.

She was spelled after failing to come up in two starts during the spring, the latest when 10th to Alamosa in the Toorak Handicap (1600m) at Caulfield.

Stablemate Mr Baritone, winner of the Group One Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm in slow going on June 7, is also back in work and will resume in the Group Two Carlyon Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on January 23.

The Stravinsky seven-year-old has a liking for Moonee Valley where he has raced six times, all at 1200m, for three wins, a second, a third.

He was an unlucky 1-1/4 lengths sixth to Typhoon Zed after being blocked for a run in the Group One Manikato Stakes on September 13.

The gelding had a break after running 11th to All Silent in the Group One Emirates Stakes (1600m) at Flemington on November 8.

Werribee Cup winner Mandela is being prepared for the Group Three $400,000 Hobart Cup (2200m) on February 9.

The seven-year-old won the Listed Werribee Cup (2224m) at Geelong, beating Imvula, on October 29 but had a short break after finishing seventh to Capecover in the Group Three Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2500m) at Flemington on November 8.

Captain Fantastic, a Group Two winner and Group One runner-up as a two-year-old in New Zealand, is recovering from an operation to remove bone chips from a knee.

"He'll be back racing in the late autumn all going well and might go to Brisbane," Feroce.

The colt ran third behind Minnesota Shark in the Nissan Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley when he resumed on August 23.

But he has failed at his two starts since, the latest when last to Northern Meteor in the Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington on November 1.
