Group One winning stablemates Crystal Lily and Response have recovered from their trip to Sydney and are set to run boldly in Sunday's Goodwood at Morphettville.

Crystal Lily is the favourite for the Group One 1200m sprint after efforts to secure air transport to Adelaide from NSW for Hay List failed.

Both Crystal Lily and Response won jumpouts in fine style at Werribee on Friday, pleasing co-trainers Simon Zahra and Mat Ellerton stable.

"We've done nothing with them since Sydney. That's why we took them both down to Werribee to give them the day out and we don't have to do much with them from here on in," Zahra said.

"We'll give them another nice easy gallop on Wednesday and that will be it."

Zahra said 2010 Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lily showed again she didn't like the right handed way when seventh to champion Black Caviar in the TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on April 9.

Dual Group One winner Response finished sixth in the TJ Smith and Zahra was more than happy with her after the event.

"She settled a fair way back and hit the line strongly. It was a super run but it's too hard when you are back last and giving those sort of horses a start," Zahra said.

"She won the Sportingbet Classic in Adelaide the start before and if they go hard she'll be hitting the line strongly again."

Crystal Lily has had to contend with Black Caviar at her past four starts, finishing runner-up to the world's highest rated racehorse in both the Newmarket Handicap (1200m) at Flemington and the William Reid Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley.

Response has met Black Caviar twice, finishing fourth to her in the Newmarket.

But the pair won't have to worry about her this time and Zahra believes Crystal Lily has the edge over Response.

"Crystal Lily is a front runner and she lobs along and she can run her last 600 metres in 32 (seconds), whereas Response settles back and has to run 31 to beat her and it's not easy to do," he said.

"The other thing to keep in mind is they are both at the end of their preparations too.

"They've both had hard campaigns running against Black Caviar and travelling interstate.

"They won't be going to Brisbane so they'll go out for spells and then we'll look to the spring."

Crystal Lily is at $6 for the Goodwood with TAB Sportsbet ahead of Shrapnel at $7, with Toorak Toff and Ortensia at $8.50 while Response is at $13.
