Here's what Brian told members about Cadillac Mountain and Rodway:
============================
Peter Moody's up-and-coming stayer (8) Cadillac Mountain 3/1 looks primed to score fourth-up from a spell in race 7, the Werribee Cup (BM78 hdcp) 2000m at Werribee on Thursday.
The Reset 4YO has met stronger fields than he faces today. He comes in off a last start 6th/16 in RB90 at Flemington 2000m on Nov 8, btn 5.3 lens by Held Hostage. That followed his 2.2 lens 4th/13 Geelong 1500m BM78 on Oct 22. Last campaign, Cadillac Mountain ran 9th/18 to Criterion in the Grp 1 Qld Derby 2400m at Eagle Farm and was a respectable 10th/14 in the Grp 3 Rough Habit 2000m at Doomben on May 10. Chad Schofield takes the ride again, his third on Cadillac Mountain, and he should be able to give him every chance from the inside gate

Two of our best trainers, Peter Moody and Darren Weir, can wrap up the night for us via two solid prospects, Moody's (1) Rodway 8/1 and Weir's (8) Wyoming 9/4 in race 8, a BM64 hdcp 2040m at Moonee Valley on Friday.
Rodway has met better rivals than those he faces tonight. The Street Cry 4YO comes in off a last start 2nd/6 to Lannister in a BM70 at Cranbourne 2060m on Nov 7, btn a nose. Three starts back, he was 1st/9 Bairnsdale 1600m in BM64, downing Charity Lane by almost 3 lens while conceding that horse 5kgs. The ratings suggest he is easily to to the class he now meets. A bonus is that top apprentice Regan Bayliss claims 3kgs so Rodway is very nicely in with 58kgs against the lowest weight 57kgs. Wyoming is a NZ 4YO, by Zabeel, who is surely on the way up. He looked solid winning narrowly over the Ballarat 1600m in RB58 on Nov 3. That was his second Oz start. His form and ratings in NZ suggest Wyoming has a lot of scope so I fancy the 2040m will be ideal for him.
