Striking grey gelding who commenced his racing in the South Island where he won on debut back in September 2010. He experienced one other start down south prior to heading to his current North Island base where he's had just six further runs to date. The sprinting son of O'Reilly ran second at Taranaki on February 10 after being hampered in the running and I noted him down in my black book soon after. Following a let-up to freshen him up, he headed to Te Rapa where he contested an R65 affair in the hands of promising apprentice Rory Hutchings. And he didn't disappoint when driving clear like a good horse in the final stages; justifying his favourite status in the process.
