In the W'bool Cup, he named just one horse - Banca Mo and advised members to 'whack the bank' on it! With wet conditions to suit, the in-form (2) Banca Mo 11/4 only has to handle the distance to prove dominant in race 8, the Warrnambool Cup (Listed) 2350m atWarrnambool on Thursday. The 5YO’s latest ratings give him an advantage of at least 2 lens over the best of his rivals. The expected Slow-7 going will be ideal. Banca Mo has raced 7 times on slow for 3 wins and three 2nds; his heavy track record shows 2 starts for a win and a 2^nd. Last start, on Apr 13, he overcame ‘tight’ passage in the straight, to the 100m, to score a convincing 2000m win at Flemington. That followed his win in the 1750m Pakenham Cup on Mar 24. These are stout formlines. Banca Mo has 10 wins from 20 starts though he’s never started beyond 2050m, so that’s the only query with him today, not that I expect him to fail to cope.
