Sunday’s abandoned Hobart Cup meeting will be staged as a twilight fixture this Friday evening. Following a violent storm that hit the Elwick course in Hobart mid-way through yesterday’s program, the meeting was postponed to protect the racing participants and spectators. All horses scratched from yesterday’s meeting will be re-instated and new race times for the program on Friday will be announced today.
