It says: 'In the space of six weeks, Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Blake Shinn and on-track rival Peter Robl turned over $300,000 when betting into a Tabcorp account. The account is held in the name of Elaine Robl, who is the wife of the jockey, while Shinn's mother Carol, who is based in Victoria pumped money into the account at the request of her son. The astonishing betting transactions were revealed yesterday at a Racing NSW stewards' inquiry that resulted in all four licensed persons being charged with breaches of the Australian Rules of racing. Shinn also admitted to wagering thousands of dollars through his mother's Tabcorp account but admitted the Robls, who are close friends, weren't fully aware of his betting activities.'
