When TAB released its Cox Plate market on August 10, Pierro opened at $8 and was on the third line of betting behind Atlantic Jewel ($4.50) and More Joyous ($7). More Joyous's price has drifted out from $7.50 to $8 after her unplaced effort in the Toorak Handicap, while Ocean Park firmed slightly after his win in the Caulfield Stakes.
