Trainer Mike Moroney's decision to run star filly Brazilian Pulse against her own sex in the Keith Nolan Classic at Rosehill tomorrow in preference to the Phar Lap Stakes has given punters their best lead for tomorrow's Rosehill Guineas Day meeting, says Alan Eskander of Betstar. He told PPD: 'The VRC Oaks winner has been the best-backed horse in early betting for the meeting. The weights are the clues to this race. She's giving four kilos away to every other runner under the set weights and penalties. She is classes above her opposition and the 1800 metres looks an ideal stepping stone for her. We opened her up at $2 but we've wound her into $1.80 and it's hard to see what can possibly beat her.'

Latest news: In the main race of the day at Rosehill, New Zealand star Jimmy Choux is all the rage, firming from an opening quote of $4.40 into $3.70. Alan Eskander says: 'He's been very dominant in New Zealand and he can handle all types of going. There are no standouts amongst our three-year-olds and punters have latched onto Jimmy Choux as the one to beat.'
