Jockey KATHY O’Hara will be reunited with Zaratone, one of her old favorites, when she resumes riding at Saturday’s meeting on the Kensington track, reports Racing Network. O’Hara has been cleared to ride after a race fall at Randwick on Friday, November 29.

Having passed her baseline concussion test last week, O’Hara was passed fit today by Racing NSW.

O’Hara’s manager Craig Morrissey said Zaratone, a last start winner of the Starlight Stakes, in the Razor Sharp Handicap headlined a possible four ride return for his client.

Morrissey said a doctor, employed by Racing NSW, had seen O’Hara’s CT scan and paved the way for her return without visiting a neurosurgeon.

“He liaised with Racing NSW stewards and they told her she didn’t have to and could begin riding again,” Morrissey said.

Apart from Zaratone, a horse that she has won three races, O’Hara has been booked for three Jason Coyle-trained horses Smart Moochi, Spring Rose and Takewing.
