Stewards stood him down from riding on Dec 23 after a positive result from a urine sample at a Queanbeyan meeting on Dec 7. Cumberland was suspended from riding in races until Aug 23. He can reduce the penalty by two months if he completes a counselling course. He can ride trackwork from April 23.
