Luca Cumani has booked Damien Oliver for the ride on the well-fancied UK stayer Manighar in Sat week's Caulfield Cup. Oliver rode for Cumani in the last two Caulfield Cups. He was 4th on Mad Rush in 2008 and 13th on Cima de Triomphe last year. Australian-based OTI Racing bought Manighar earlier this year with the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups as the target.
