BRETT Prebble is the confirmed rider for Fast ‘N’ Rocking in Saturday week’s $1 million Golden Rose at Rosehill The internationally acclaimed jockey cleared any confusion over who would ride David Hayes top colt when he said he had been given the ok from Lloyd Williams, reports TVN Racing Network.
Prebble is riding for Williams during the spring and there was speculation that he would have to ride Williams horses at Moonee Valley on the same day as the Golden Rose.
But, Prebble said he had spoken to Williams who had given him the green light to ride Fast ‘N’ Rocking.
“I’ve spoken to Lloyd and he’s alright about it,” Prebble said.
“It is a million dollar race and Fast ‘N’’ Rocking is one the favourites and rightly so. He’s a lovely, exciting colt who’s looking for more ground,” Prebble said.
“You saw that the way he finished off his race at Caulfield last Saturday.”
