Winona Costin’s return from her working trip to the United States has been memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Costin, who spent time riding in Florida earlier this month, resumed riding with a winner at Wyong last Thursday, but she also incurred a suspension.

And, yesterday at Rosehill, Costin again found herself before Racing NSW stewards, who suspended her following her ride on Vanilla Princess.

Costin will start her 12-meeting suspension when she finishes the one incurred at Wyong, which expires on January 4.

She can resume riding on January 17.

Tye Angland was also suspended on a careless-riding charge following his ride on Miss Ready.

Stewards found him guilty of permitting his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of Medusa’s Miss, which resulted in that horse being checked.

Angland’s suspension starts on December 28 and he can resume on January 4. (Racing Network)
