Peter Robl's bad run in the stewards room struck again on Saturday when he was outed for the second time in two Saturdays. The latest ban has cost him the ride on Magic Millions 2YO Classic favorite Assail on the Gold Coast in January.

Robl was suspended for careless riding at Rosehill last Saturday for an incident that saw his mount relegated to 2nd.

On Thursday Robl's luck took a better turn. He rode Assail to a dominant win in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the youngster was installed the $4.80 MM 2YO Classic favorite. Lady Luck then turned again, for the worse. Later that night Robl, who was staying on the Central Coast, had his car stolen.

His jinxed run continued at Warwick Farm when he pleaded guilty to allowing Baltra to shift out over the concluding stages, causing another runner to be checked. Robl will start his latest ban at the end of last Saturday's suspension on January 4. The Warwick Farm suspension will end on January 19, a week after the Magic Millions race day on the Gold Coast.
