BLACK Caviar is loving Brisbane. The world's best racehorse snuck into town on Sunday and has been under guard in a purpose-built stable at Eagle Farm, reports the Courier-Mail in Brisbane.

Its report says: Trainer Peter Moody is spending this week in Brisbane to keep close tabs on the progress of Black Caviar, who successfully handled a two-day float trip from Melbourne.

"She was on the road for 10¢ hours to Dubbo, where she had a stopover," Moody said. "After the rest she was back on the float for the trip to Brisbane. Everything went perfectly and she hasn't missed a beat since she arrived here."

Black Caviar hysteria is gathering momentum and Brisbane Racing Club officials hope a "house full" sign will be posted when she races in the BTC Cup on Saturday week. The mighty mare was given light exercise well before dawn for the past three days and few people knew she was even at the track.
