After a second and third place in his last two starts Press Statement appears set to bounce back, priced as the $2.80 favourite with TAB to claim the All Aged Stakes.
Stablemate Kermadec has been given plenty of hope at $8.00, with Black Heart Bart ($4.60) and English ($4.60) also amongst the top chances.
“It’s no surprise to see the Chris Waller duo Press Statement and Kermadec prominent in the market. Press Statement looked brilliant when resuming with a win in the Hobartville Stakes, but has stung punters after being heavily backed at his past two starts,” said TAB’s Nick Quinn.
In the Champagne Stakes Yankee Rose looks hard to beat at $1.50, with Obscura the biggest challenger at $4.60.
