Families flocked to Emirates Stakes day on Saturday with a crowd of 78,478 which was the third highest recorded for the final day of the carnival.

Last Saturday's Derby Day was the most popular with an attendance of 107,645, while the Melbourne Cup day crowd on Tuesday was a healthy 102,181 and Thursday's Oaks Day drew 80,112.
