Darren Weir has a good record at Mildura and I'll be surprised if he cannot add another notch to his tally with (8) Truffle 5/2 in race 7, an RB62 hdcp 1000m on Monday. The 3YO grey filly is drawn in gate #1 and Harry Coffey's 2kgs claim cuts her weight impost to 55kgs, just 1kg over the Limit. Truffle comes in off a last start 1.8 lens 2nd/11 Colac 1100m in RB62 on Mar 23. That was her first start since running 5th at Casterton 1400m last Sep 16. Coffey should give her the run of the race today.
