Punters are expecting More Joyous to run away with the Group Two Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday after she opened up an overwhelming favourite in pre-post betting.

TAB Sportsbet has the Gai Waterhouse-trained flyer at $1.30 for the 1100-metre feature with the closest to her Melito at $6.50 and Sunday Rose from the Bart Cummings yard at $11.

More Joyous is also the $4.50 TAB Sportsbet Golden Slipper favourite.

She stormed into favouritism for the $3.5 million race at Rosehill in April after her slashing 5-1/4 length debut victory on January 17.

Golden Slipper hopeful Onemorenomore, who is at $16 for the Silver Slipper, has the chance to cap off a good week for Patinack Farm-owned juveniles.

The Jason Coyle-trained Red Ransom colt will also be having just his second start.

Nathan Tinkler's thoroughbred empire Patinack Farm enjoyed success at Warwick Farm on Wednesday with two-year-old So Anyway booking herself a crack at stakes racing with an impressive win.

Coyle said Saturday provided the perfect opportunity to see where Onemorenomore was at from a Golden Slipper point of view.

Onemorenomore finished third to Blue Diamond Stakes runner-up Real Saga at his only start in the Listed Breeders Plate (1000m) at Randwick in October.

The colt has been given a couple of barrier trials since with his last effort over 740 metres at Randwick on February 20.

"What better chance to see where we are at than by taking on the Golden Slipper favourite," Coyle said.

"We haven't had to do much with him since the trial, that topped him up nicely, we've been aiming him at this for some time and we're really looking forward to Saturday."

Onemorenomore, who is a $41 chance on TAB Sportsbet for the Golden Slipper, has barrier nine and will be ridden by Peter Robl on Saturday.

"He won't be able to get too far back with the rail out six metres so he'll park just off them and we'll see what happens," Coyle said.

Robl capped off his recent comeback from a shocking fall in December with a win So Anyway on Wednesday.

Coyle said he would nominate the General Nediym filly for Saturday week's Group Three Kindergarten Stakes at Randwick and the Black Opal Stakes at Canberra a day later.

Stablemate Marquardt, a debut winner at Rosehill last month, finished third to Horizons in the Listed Widden Stakes (1100m) at Randwick on February 14 and is likely to have her next start in the Group Three Sweet Embrace Stakes (1200m) at the same venue on March 14.

"We've been able to take our foot off the pedal and let her get over those first two runs and she is well," Coyle said.

Marquardt is rated a $17 chance for the Golden Slipper with TAB Sportsbet.
