The Darley team has dominated two-year-old racing this year and Ambidexter will be out to provide a fitting finale in Sydney's final juvenile race of the season on Saturday.

Ambidexter, a full-brother to last season's Group One-winning two-year-old Skilled, makes his city debut in the Inglis Bonus Handicap (1300m) at Rosehill after hitting the line strongly for second at his only start at Kembla early this month.

If successful on Saturday, Ambidexter will become the 28th individual Peter Snowden-trained two-year-old winner this season.

Darley's head trainer prepared the winners of all five two-year-old Group Ones in Australia this year with Sepoy taking out the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper, Helmet claiming the Sires' Produce Stakes and Champagne Stakes and Benfica scoring in the TJ Smith.

Kerrin McEvoy has also played a starring role, riding the winner in the five Group Ones, and is aboard Ambidexter on Saturday.

"He's a nice big horse who has got the ability to run well in town," McEvoy said.

"It's a step up from his first run (at Kembla) but if he's not a town horse now then he will be in the future.

"We've had a great run (with the two-year-olds), there's a lot of nice horses progressing through to their three-year-old season."

The star of the team is Sepoy who will have a jumpout at Werribee on Friday morning ahead of his return in the Vain Stakes next month.

McEvoy is making the trip to Victoria to partner Sepoy in Friday's hitout.

"He's coming along really well," McEvoy said.

"He's strengthened up a bit and he's been doing some nice work at home. He's been cruising around and maintains the same frame of mind he had last time in which is a good sign."
