I like the way this staying mare has developed this preparation and to prove my point she won an R65 2300m event at Awapuni on ANZAC Day. The daughter of Ekraar cleared the dunce grade at end of her previous campaign and it took her three starts this time up to strike form. She ran a brace of thirds before heading to Palmerston North to secure the winning cheque from the aforementioned race. Look out for her to grab another middle-distance affair in the near future.
