Lovely chestnut middle-distance performer who's on a prime run of form following an indifferent beginning to his career form-wise. The son of Sunray and Vision Of A Kiss ran a brace of seconds in maiden company prior to breaking through for his initial success at Te Awamutu on March 13. He was very impressive that day after travelling very wide from the 700m and clearing out by 2.75 lengths in the run home. He finished a very close third at Te Rapa after being hampered in the early stages and then contested an R65 race at Ellerslie on April 14. He again suffered interference, but in the hands of Leith Innes the gap came at the right time and he burst through along the rail in the home straight to claim the win.
