This bloke has made a fantastic start to his career having chalked up two wins from his first three starts. The son of Pentire and Fifty Fifty can reasonably be expected to excel over a staying distance, but for now sprinting will suffice. He made his debut back on the final day of June where he produced a big, late finish to run over the top of his maiden opponents. A decent effort followed for fourth at New Plymouth, but the track was likely too heavy for him. He was expected to be tough to hold out in an R65 event on the first day of the Hastings Triple Crown carnival and he duly obliged with another strong finishing effort. He appears to extend himself just enough to win - the sign of a good horse.
