Top Qld sprinter Woorim is working well for a first-up defence of his title in the $400,000 Grp 1 Oakleigh Plate (1100m) at Caulfield on Feb 23, according to trainer Robert Heathcote. The 7YO son of Show A Heart missed the Spring Racing Carnival after "whacking a tendon" but Heathcote says the gelding has fully recovered and is on schedule for a return in the Melbourne Festival of Racing. Heathcote says: 'He's been back a few weeks now and we're bang on target for the Oakleigh Plate.'
