It's all synthetic...Next Wednesday's scheduled Sandown Betfair Park meeting is to be transferred to the Geelong synthetic track and that means there'll be three consecutive days of racing on the Geelong 'cushion' next week. The Seymour meeting on Thursday is also being transferred, and a Geelong meeting is scheduled for Friday. Several distance changes have had to be made due to the 1550-metre start not being available, because it crosses the very heavy Geelong grass track.

The John O'Shea trained Solar Charged is likely to go to the post as favorite for the San Domenico at Warwick Farm on Sat even though she is taking on quality opposition including Golden Slipper runner-up Decision Time, Brightexpectations, Obsequious, Georgette Silk and Queenslander Spirit Of Boom. O'Shea wants Corey Brown to use Solar Charged's natural speed and that's just what the jockey is planning. He'll let the flying filly 'run' and have her rivals chasing all the way.
