A Sydney Cup campaign is on the agenda for Ibicenco following his Sandown Cup 3200m win on Saturday. OTI syndicate director Terry Henderson says he hopes Ibicenco will benefit from being trained in the Australian style by Peter Moody, who transformed Manighar from a stayer into a weight-for-age performer. Henderson says: "He's a bit more dour, but you never know. We'll aim him for the Sydney Cup and then bring him back for next spring...He's still a lightly raced horse with a bit of upside.

OTI's imported gallopers had a profitable spring. Henderson says: '"Gatewood won the Geelong Cup, My Quest For Peace won more than $200,000 and with the $100,000 bonus for Ibicenco winning at Sandown that's another $190,000."
