Can he win again? Peter Snowden will give summer boomer Pinwheel the chance to notch another victory in the Canterbury Classic (Listed) on Thurs night. The impressive 4YO has nabbed a hat-trick of wins in benchmark races since returning in November and PS says: 'We couldn't have asked any more of him in those wins...He's only had the three runs, so we haven't emptied him and it's a good time to step him up to black-type level...The Canterbury race looks fairly solid and will give us a good indication of where to go with him.'

The Canterbury Classic is shaping up as an eye-catcher of a race. Top sprinters Bank Robber and News Alert will head the weights and Pins On Parade and Kenny's World are reported as likely starters. Gai Waterhouse will decide whether Bank Robber runs after returning from the Magic Millions on the Gold Coast. Bank Robber worked well between races at Randwick on Saturday but he faces a task with 61kgs under the quality handicap conditions. This means he'll concede 8kgs to Pinwheel.
