Mick Price's Golden Slipper 'team' got its first look at a right-handed track when all four members trialed at Royal Randwick on Monday morning. Blue Diamond Stakes runner-up Jabali and third-placed Cornrow both trialed well, withJabali proving too good for a John Sargent-trained unraced colt called Commissar. Cornrow ran third in the same trial and Eqdaam wasn’t too far away behind him. All three will start in Saturday’s $300,000 Todman Stakes (1200m) as their final lead-up to the $3.5 million Golden Slipper Stakes at Rosehill Gardens, on April 5. Price’s highly-regarded filly, More Radiant, contested a heat of the trials in a fillies-only trial several heats after the colts.
