Aussie mare Alverta will bid to build on her 3rd in the July Cup in the UK when she tackles the Prix Maurice De Gheest on Sunday at Deauville. Trainer Paul Messara says: 'She has put in a couple of solid workouts here at Newmarket and we are really pleased with her...We are going to ship her over on Friday night as she can be a difficult traveller, not on the flight but she doesn't settle in very well...We will be travelling her through the night and she will be arriving there early on Saturday
