THE John O’Shea-trained Sea Siren will be looking to emulate the feats of Black Caviar last year when she contests the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot early Sunday morning (12:45) on the final day of the carnival.
The Fastnet Rock mare bypassed the King’s Stand Stakes which Shamexpress ran in on Day 1 of the carnival and will be hoping to show the form that saw her win last year’s Manikato Stakes.
Her last run in Australia resulted in a second placing to Epaulette in the Doomben 10,000 on May 25.
Sea Siren opened $15 when betting was available in early May and is now on the third line of betting at $7.50 after drawing barrier 13 in the 18-horse field.
Society Rock holds favouritism at $4.50 after opening $13 ahead of Gordon Lord Byron at $7.
