GUY Walter can’t fault stablemates Streama and Toydini ahead of Saturday’s Epsom Handicap at Randwick, reports Racing Network. Walter said both horses had progressed well from their respective wins in the George main Stakes and Cameron Handicap.

Streama and Toydini went into the Randwick Group 1 on the back of strong wins and significant weight drops.

“He (Toydini) will do a bit more than her (Streama). Toydini will work with a companion and she will work on her own,” Walter said. “Toydini’s last win was very good. He carried plenty of weight, he was deep and he kept coming...He’s done well since and now the barrier draw is going to be pretty important.”

Toydini carried 58 kg when he won the Cameron and drops to 53 kg in the Epsom. Walter noted that Streama is a weight-for-age winner dropping back to a handicap, where she’s 3.5kg better off.

Sportsbet.com.au rates Toydini the $4.40 favorite for the $500,000 race with Streama at $7.50. The Chris Waller-trained Boban splits the pair at $4.80.

Barrier draw for the Epsom will be conducted at 10 am on Wednesday at the 24/7 Sports Bar at Randwick.
