Successfully pre-empted by 26 of the Caulfield Cup's past 50 winners, New Zealand gallopers are on track to account for no less than 10 starting stalls in the 18 horse feature.

C'Est la Guerre (NZ) (Shinko King): 2008 Melbourne Cup placegetter who scooped a brilliant Gr.1 win at the distance in the 2008 Gr.1 New Zealand Derby (2400m).

Fiumicino (NZ) (Zabeel): Distance specialist who counts Gr.1 wins in the 2007 Gr.1 Australian Derby (2400m) and the 2009 STC BMW Stakes (2400m).
