The Peter Snowden-trained Albrecht headlines an impressive list of 19 nominations for the Listed $120,000 Manfred Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

Runner-up behind stable mate Epaulette in the $1 million Golden Rose during his spring campaign, the son of Redoute's Choice is expected to spearhead Snowden's Australian Guineas charge.

Also nominated is Robert Hickmott's exciting colt Wales, who is down to make his first race track appearance since winning the Listed Blue Sapphire (1200m) at Caulfield on debut in April last year and currently holds a nomination in the Darley Newmarket Handicap.

Other key entries include the Bart Cummings-trained Flight Stakes winner Norzita, Greg Eurell's Hosting who won impressively on debut at Mornington in August as well as a trio of runners from the all-conquering Peter Moody stable including the ex-Gai Waterhouse-trained filly Later Gator who is among six Moody nominations in the Newmarket.

Another highlight on the quality program of racing is the $120,000 Mornington Cup Prelude (2000m), a key lead up to the Listed $350,000 Mornington Cup on February 13.

Kyneton Cup victor Lucky Eighty Eight heads the outstanding list of 24 nominations, which also includes Dan O'Sullivan's summer revelation Tuscan Fire, the Peter Moody-trained White Universe and Robert Smerdon's Queensland and South Australian Derby placegetter Westsouthwest.

Grand sprinter First Command leads the entries for the Listed $120,000 W.J. Adams Stakes (1000m) which features four runners that currently hold nominations for the Newmarket Handicap.

Among the quartet are David Jolly's smart mare Avoid Lightning and David Hayes' talented first-up Sportingbet Park Sandown winner Rifleman.

21 two-year-old's have been nominated for the Listed $120,000 Chairman's Stakes (1100m), including impressive debut Flemington winner Metastasio.
