Boban ($2.90) has opened favourite with TAB Fixed Odds to win the Apollo Stakes (1400m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday, reports TAB.com.au. The dual Group 1 winner was heavily backed first-up, before finishing a disappointing fifth behind Appearance.
Appearance ($3.70), who has now won three from six first-up, returned in fine order to claim the Expressway Stakes, but has never won second-up in five attempts. Both runners are prominent in feature markets for The Championships at Royal Randwick on 12 and 19 April. http://bit.ly/1gCTXKg
