Boban gets early top spot for Makybe Diva

Punters' pal Boban has opened the $4.40 favourite with TAB for Saturday’s Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington. 

The resuming Fawkner looks likely to give the most competition, next in the market at $7.00 ahead of the likes of Alpine Eagle, Hi World, Volkstok’n’barrell and Weary, all priced at $8.00.

“Boban is holding favouritism ahead of Fawkner who is racing for the first time since finishing 10^th in the Melbourne Cup behind Protectionist,” said TAB’s Nick Quinn.

In Rosehill’s Group 1, the Golden Rose, Exosphere heads the market at $3.00 with Press Statement looking the next most likely at $3.80.
