Jockey Nash Rawiller will miss next week's Group One Queensland Oaks meeting at Eagle Farm after losing an appeal on Friday against a suspension under the new whip rules.

Rawiller was suspended for five meetings, starting after Saturday's Doomben meeting, for his 11th infringement of the controversial whip rules.

Queensland Racing stewards found Rawiller guilty of striking his mount Gold Water 11 times with the whip in a forehand manner over the final 100 metres of the Group One Doomben Cup last Saturday.

Rawiller is without a ride in Saturday's Group One Doomben 10,000 after the Gai Waterhouse-trained Swift Alliance suffered a recurrence of a foot injury.

Waterhouse has Stage Performer entered for next week's Queensland Oaks and is now on the lookout for a new rider after Rawiller lost his appeal.
