Michelle Payne is looking forward to the week ahead after finding her best form at the weekend with four city winners, including a double at Moonee Valley on Sunday.

Payne, knocked about by a dose of the `flu, had to be passed fit to ride on Sunday by the club doctor.

She scored on the Andrew Noblet-trained filly Penski Material and brought up the double aboard High Chaparral four-year-old Chaparro for her brother, trainer Patrick Payne.

The three-time Group One-winning jockey said it was her first metropolitan double since she won the Chester Manifold Stakes aboard Rockposta and a support race on Fair Trade at Flemington almost two years ago.

Payne landed the third Group One win of her career with a brilliant ride on the Stuart Webb-trained Yosei in the Thousand Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield in October but said she lost momentum when she was suspended for careless riding.

Payne also combined with her brother to win on Star Of Jeune at Moonee Valley on Friday night and landed the Mat Ellerton and Simon Zahra-trained Lucky Eighty Eight a winner at Flemington on Saturday.

She said she had a busy week ahead, beginning with rides at Warrnambool on Monday, Wangaratta on Tuesday and Caulfield on Wednesday.

"There are a lot of good riders away at the moment, so I'm going to really knuckle down and try to make the most of it," Payne said.

Payne has rides in five of the seven races at Caulfield on Wednesday including three for her brother - Zenocoin, Fieldmaster and Zizz.

Her other mounts are second emergency Valentine Blues for trainer Rick Hore-Lacy and Clarion Lass for Ellerton and Zahra.
